Ashley Harkleroad, the 15-year-old daughter of Danny Harkleroad of Chattanooga 197M, is a young tennis professional working her way up the competitive ladder. She recently was selected to represent the United States in the 2000 World Youth Cup final for boys and girls in Hiroshima, Japan.

Ashley was America's highest finishing girl in the U.S. Open Junior Championships, losing in the quarter finals to the second seed. She turned professional in May and now trains at the Saddlebrook Resort in Florida.
