The award is sponsored by the Bergen County, N.J., Central Trades and Labor Council and the United Labor Agency of Bergen County. He was also recognized with citations from the New Jersey State Senate and Assembly and a commendation from the Bergen County Board of Freeholders. Many active and retired GCIU members, members of other unions and political leaders from the New York-New Jersey area attended the presentation award banquet to honor LoPresti.
