Bowling Party strikes it up

The 54th annual GCIU Bowling Party, hosted by Chicago 458M, had 25 teams participate.

Capturing first place for women was the Chicago Ladies of Local 458M with a score of 2,973.

The men's team bowling over the most pins was London Litho of Local 458M with a score of 3,344.

Wayne Scharlach was presented a wristwatch by Local 458M for his 50 years of participation in the International Bowling Party.

Established by Jack Benshop, this year there were two recipients of the Jack Benshop award – Local 458M Pres. Charles Timmel and Jim Moore of Local 458M.

The 55th annual Bowling Party will be held in Montreal. Details will be announced in a future issue of the Graphic Communicator.

First place men's scratch series is won by Dan Krause of Chicago 458M with a score of 730.
Women's high series scratch is won by Cindy Tamaraz of Chicago 458M with a score of 655.
First place men's scratch game is won by Dave Fiedor of Chicago 458M with a score of 256.

First place men's high handicap game is won by Chicago 458M Pres. Charles Timmel with a score of 269.
Women's high game scratch is won by Carol Nicholls of Toronto 500M with a score of 191.
