Ennis 439S celebrates 60th Photo courtesy of Ennis 439S Ennis 439S marked its 60th anniversary in 2002. In 1942, months after Pearl Harbor was attacked, all employees of the "Tag" joined together to form a local union affiliated with the International Printing Pressmen and Assistants Union. A contract was negotiated despite strong resistance from management. Marking the anniversary standing from left are local Pres. Dwight Nickerson, Chairperson David Morris, Executive Vice Pres.
