Pittsburgh 24M is on the fast track for organizing with its support of the 11K stock car
owned by Chuck Kremer. Local 24M Pres. Louis Blauth said the local's executive board
developed the "racing to organize" campaign after realizing that "the love of racing is at a fevered
pitch in the area." The Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pa., where Kremer races, attracts a
capacity crowd on Friday nights, Blauth said, so "the advertisement has the potential to reach a
lot of people." The GCIU logos on the stock car were done by Bill Berberich of Sign Painters
Local 479. When it isn't at the track, the car can be seen n front of Kremer's Garage in
Dorseyville, Pa. |
